What this session covers

Your Customers Are Sending Signals. Is Your Email Program Listening? A Mailora webinar in association with the Canadian Email Summit, September 30, 2026.
A practical conversation on turning customer behavior into smarter segmentation, automation, timing, and channel decisions.

In this practical session, Anna Levitin and Matthew Vernhout will explore how customer behavior can shape smarter segmentation, automation, timing, and communication. We'll discuss the data points teams often overlook, how to apply behavioral insights across key lifecycle moments, and how to balance automated journeys with planned campaigns during busy periods.

The session will also explore when email is the right response to a customer signal and when another channel may be more appropriate, with practical ideas attendees can apply to their existing email and lifecycle programs.

Join Anna Levitin and Matthew Vernhout for a practical discussion on:

  • Using customer behavior to improve segmentation and lifecycle timing
  • Identifying the signals teams often overlook
  • Balancing automated journeys with planned campaigns
  • Deciding when email is the right response, and when another channel makes more sense
  • Turning behavioral signals into smarter lifecycle decisions
The core question Most programs measure whether a message was opened or clicked. Far fewer are set up to notice what that behavior is actually saying, and to respond to it.

  • CRM professionals
  • Email marketing managers

You do not need a technical deliverability background. The conversation starts from customer behavior, not from infrastructure.
